Although we are a Catalina hotel that is conveniently located right in the town of Avalon - less than a block from the beach, with restaurants, shopping and sightseeing all within a five minute walk - the Casa Mariquita is away from the busy Main Street, and enjoys less noise and crowding than most other Catalina Island hotels. We also offer amazing Catalina Island hotel packages, so that you can get the most out of your stay.

Built in 1990, Casa Mariquita is the newest built of all Catalina Island hotels. An 'open-air' Spanish style building with tiled walkways amid garden settings, Casa Mariquita features twenty-two newly decorated rooms, two open patio areas for relaxing and taking in views, and all the modern amenities needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay.

Casa Mariquita offers a full range of room types - from deluxe suites to family-style rooms with two full size beds. The suites are perfect for romantic getaways - featuring separate bedrooms with King beds, living rooms with big screen TVs, and private balconies overlooking the town of Avalon and the bay. Our Penthouse also features a full kitchen and a fireplace!

In addition to our deluxe suites, our Catalina hotel has King rooms with full and partial ocean views, and rooms with two full size beds. Several of these rooms adjoin, making this hotel ideal for families. Two outdoor patio areas feature beautiful panoramic views of Avalon, the bay, and the surrounding hillsides. These common areas are great for friends and families to get together, making Casa Mariquita a great choice for a family reunion. Adding to the wonderful style of the hotel, the Casa Mariquita offers a complimentary continental breakfast, internet access, ice, and luggage storage. We supply beach towels for a small maintenance fee. The rooms feature basic TV, Irons, refrigerators, hair dryers, and coffeemakers upon request.
